About Us

RISQ Resolution is a consultancy assisting the dairy and food industries to manage product development and processing in a way that keeps pace with the ever-changing requirements of regulation, innovation, safety and quality.

The principal consultant, Doug Eddy, has been involved in the dairy industry in both Victoria and Tasmania since 1980, and has built up a number of areas of expertise along the way. 

A Melbourne University trained microbiologist, Doug has worked in the analytical laboratory, research and development, customer support and in regulation areas.  He has a strong understanding of the technical aspects of dairy processing and the scientific basis required for fulfilling the food safety program validation process.

He has a strong understanding and knowledge of regulatory requirements, innovative product development, food safety practices and quality issues that will be required to ensure that the business remains consistent at delivering a product that can meet the needs of the market and delivers a profit.

There will always be risks associated with food, whether they originate from the production, manufacture, or storage and distribution – especially with the nutritionally-rich dairy product sector.  

Risks can come from a number of areas and will adversely affect the bottom line for businesses.
